TEST SUPPORT ENGINEER / WEST MIDLANDS / TO £30K
Our client seeks a Test Support Engineer for a varied role supporting production & engineering test. In this challenging role your accountabilities will include:
* Maintaining high levels of rig availability to ensure production continuity
* Ensuring engineering test facility availability
* Continuous improvement across operations test facilities
- We are keen to receive applications from Test Support Engineers able to read & understand electrical & electronics circuit diagrams
- Able to fault find to sub system & component level
- Knowledge of electronic systems assembly techniques
- Able to work as part of a team & to communicate at all levels
- Knowledge of C & CVI / LabView advantageous
* This key role includes troubleshooting of test equipment failures
* Analysis of issues affecting capability, throughput & reliability
* Recommendation/implementation of solutions
* Modifications to equipment & maintenance of documentation & configuration
* Assistance in commissioning of new test systems & establishing process capability
* Support to test equipment based at customer location |
