Test Manager sought demonstrated management expertise & high level of Project Management knowledge. Experience/skills to include:
- Team Leadership & exp in a Project Management role
- Cost & schedule management expertise
- Background in telecommunications space industry
- Ability to deliver high quality results against scheduled milestones
- Exp in high pressure results driven environment in any of the Aerospace, Defence or communications industries
- Ability to question technical experts/make sound decisions
- Critical Path analysis & schedule control
- Cost Management & resource/facility capacity planning
- Team building/management through coaching/development
- Planning/organisation/prioritisation
- Project Management qualification
- Understanding of Satellite technology
- Technical background in RF Measurement techniques
- Contract & supply chain management
ROLE:
* The System Project Manager's primary focus is successful co- ordination/management of a multi disciplined (multi- national) team of experts towards successful delivery of a fully integrated & validated Payload Test System (Hardware/Software)
* Project Management of successful; Procurement development & validation of Hardware/Software required for Payload Test System; on cost/schedule
* Procurement co-ordination & gate review process owner (requirements generation, SOW & contracts co-ordination, tender vet, Preliminary Design Review, Critical Design review, Factory & Site acceptance tests, Delivery review Board)
* Team management of a multi-disciplined team (inward looking) Communication/morale
* Relationship management with key stakeholders weekly/monthly progress reporting (outward looking) |
