We Urgently require a Technical Officer B & CE Sleaford for a public sector estates management provider.
Job Purpose: Capable of lone working to support the Establishment Building and
Civils Team in the day to day maintenance activities as required within both
Response and Planned Maintenance activities within his/her own formerly trained
skill set with a demonstrable knowledge of SRP requirements.
Responsibilities:
• Carry out the planned preventative and response maintenance programme and
ensure compliance with management systems, relevant guidelines, statutory
acts and regulations.
• Through diligent action minimise the risk of building fabric failure and
breakdown. When breakdowns do occur, act effectively to undertake the
remedial works.
• To ensure that all works are carried out to Babcock DynCorp Maintenance
Services and Clients' standards, policies and procedures and expectations.
• Is able to organise own work and resources and complete accurately all
supporting documentation.
• Deal with emergencies and breakdowns. This requires a high level of
commitment and participation in an ‘on call' rota for emergencies outside normal
working hours. Attendance will also be required occasionally outside normal
hours to deal with certain maintenance procedures.
Controlled Document
• Provide mentoring within own skill set for Company Apprentices.
Skills & Qualifications required:
• Has served a recognised indentured apprenticeship in the said B&C skill set
and/or has a formal City & Guilds or NVQ qualification.
• Demonstrate good understanding of Health & Safety issues.
• Demonstrates a good working knowledge of his/her establishment
