SYSTEMS SAFETY CONSULTANT / HANTS or AVON / £45K
Our client is keen to hear from experienced Systems Safety Engineers/Consultants with a sound working knowledge of defence & industry safety processes & standards is sought to undertake a wide range of analyses & assessments in a project or programme environment
* Your key skills will also include good working knowledge/experience of safety process lifecycle from preparation of Safety Management Plans & Safety Management Systems, through Preliminary Hazard Analyses & System Hazard Analyses & analyses involved, to delivering completed Safety Cases
* This important role includes Safety management activities & assessments
Your combination of skills must include:
* Good electronic/electrical engineering degree or equivalent
* Chartered Engineer (corporate member of IEE etc or equiv experience considered)
* Experience preparing Safety Management Systems & Safety Management Plans
* Safety assessments throughout project lifecycle
* Preparation/construction of Safety Cases including the key safety arguments
* Experience preparing Safety Case Reports
* Good knowledge of Def Stan 00-56 Issue 3, JSP 430, JSP 454, JSP 553, JSP 520 & Mil Std 882C/D would be expected
* Experience of Safety work on Defence projects in a variety of roles
* Liaison & ability to communicate effectively at meetings with customers
* Significant working exp in Safety discipline |
