Introduction:
Our client currently has a requirement for a Systems Engineer with a background in Radar and Communications to be based in Portsmouth.
Reporting to the Systems Manager, you will be achieving targets in the most economical, logical and professional way. Due regard must be given at all times to the provision of a safe working environment and employee welfare.
Responsibilities:
Supporting the Weapons Systems Engineering Group, the successful candidate will be responsible for the quality, co-ordination and control of Commissioning and rectification activities, ensuring timely and efficient project delivery to specification. This will also include fault diagnosis, defect rectification, particularly OPDEF work and the presentation of HATs and SATs.
Candidate Requirements:
BTEC HNC in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
A recognised apprenticeship or equivalent.
Ideally, candidates should have experience on the following RN equipments:
RT1022, RT966, RT1007, 4KMA and NAMC.
