SYSTEM ENGINEER (MODELLING) / AVON / £25-35K + LOTS OF BENEFITS
* Fantastic opportunity at a multinational organisation for a Systems Engineer, Modelling, to conduct model-based design studies to support the definition, validation & verification of requirements for landing gears & associated systems
* Your challenge will also include supporting Safety Engineers through modelling & simulation
* We are keen to hear from SYSTEMS ENGINEERS with a good understanding of dynamical system modelling, subjects including Control, Mechanics, Hydraulics & Electronics
* You will have a degree, or equiv, coupled with sound industrial experience
* Your knowledge must extend to the application of modelling techniques throughout the design lifecycle & an understanding of aircraft production methods & processes
* In this varied position the SYSTEMS ENGINEER, MODELLING, will:
- Build simulation models to assess & derive system requirements for primarily landing gears & landing gear systems
- Support Landing Gear Design Teams by integrating models into Simulators: Desktop, Virtual Test Rigs, Test Rig & Full Cockpit Flight Simulators
- Create modelling policies for landing gear & co-ordinate buy-off in the wider modelling community |
