SYSTEMS ENGINEER - DEFENCE SYSTEMS / AVON / £NEG
Our defence client requires a Systems Engineering Consultant to undertake a variety of roles across the Defence market sectors. Your skills will include:
* Degree qualification in Numerate Discipline, ideally Systems Engineering/Software Engineering or equivalent
* Systems Engineering Methods – e.g requirements management, systems architecture, architecture frameworks, system/technology maturity assessments, change/configuration management, test management, interface & assumptions management
* Systems Assurance
* Procurement Support
* Broad knowledge of systems & software development processes, methods/tools
* Broad knowledge of systems & software development & assessment standards (e.g 15288)
ROLE:
Our client's consultancy assignments occur across all stages of the project lifecycle & span a variety of roles, including:
- Research into systems engineering methods & their application
- Provision of targeted advice to clients relating to specific problems
- Wider ranging support to clients in establishing their own systems engineering practice/processes
- Specific systems engineering activities on behalf of clients
Your role will also support a range of broader activities within Technical Consulting, including:
- Internal systems engineering methods & process development
- Business development & proposal writing
- Conferences/exhibitions |
