SYSTEMS ENGINEER - DEFENCE SYSTEMS / SURREY / £30K-£40K
Due to continued expansion of systems engineering related activities within their technical consulting practice, our Aerospace & Defence Systems client has a vacancy for a Systems Engineering Consultant to undertake a variety of roles across the Defence market sectors. You will have knowledge & experience of:
- Systems Engineering Methods - e.g requirements management, systems architecture, architecture frameworks, system/technology maturity assessments, change/configuration management, test management, interface & assumptions management
- Systems Assurance
- Software Assurance
- Procurement Support
Degree or equivalent in a Numerate Discipline, ideally Systems Engineering/Software Engineering also required
ROLE:
* Much of the work involves application of systems engineering principles & techniques to support large scale procurement, systems integration & introduction of systems into service
* The consultancy assignments occur across all stages of the project lifecycle & span a variety of roles, including:
- Research into systems engineering methods & their application
- Provision of targeted advice to clients relating to specific problems
- Wider ranging support to clients in the establishment of their own systems engineering practice & processes;
- Undertaking specific systems engineering activities on behalf of clients |
