SUPPLY CONTRACTS MANAGER / HAMPSHIRE / £NEG
Excellent opportunity to join a global leader in aerospace, defence & related services. We are keen on receiving applications from Supply Contracts Managers to take responsibility for providing Commercial & Contractual support to the Business Units related to the Payload Contracts & provide Commercial & Contractual support to Equipment Commodities purchasing and project teams
* The perfect candidate will have knowledge of commercial & sub-contracting practices/issues in an engineering project environment. You will also have CIPS Membership
* You will support the Commodity Managers & Project Teams in negotiating & placing sub-contracts in accordance with customers & for the optimum benefit of the Business Unit
* Also support the Head of Sub-contracts in implementing best Commercial practice
* Responsibilities include:
a) Prepare quotations/commercial proposals for bids
b) Ensure consistency of Commercial Proposals with overall bid & relevant Business approvals
c) Co-ordinate/evaluate subcontractor selection process
d) Prepare subcontracts & administer as necessary
e) Ensure special commercial arrangements associated with a bid are in place prior to bid submission
f) Lead negotiations with customers on medium to large deals
g) Prepare Commercial Agreements for approval by the Commercial manager, including: Consortium, Collaboration, Confidentiality, Joint Venture, Manufacturing, Software Licensing & Marketing; in accordance with company instructions/standards
h) On receipt of contract, undertake a review, negotiation & acceptance of Order
i) Ensure all Terms & Conditions are being complied with |
