SUPPLY CHAIN PLANNER/ BUYER / BUCKINGHAMSHIRE / £NEG
A key member of a multi discipline project team, providing the interface with the Supply Chain and Programme team to manage the parts acquisition process for new products from initial design to handover of a stable supply chain into production.
·Good understanding of engineering ( mechanical or Electronics) and ability to influence designs
·Demonstrated commercial awareness / ability
·Good interpersonal skills, and ability to apply them within an engineering / design / manufacturing environment.
·Ability to work with the minimum of supervision within a multifunctional team
·Demonstrable experience within a manufacturing industry in either:
·A purchasing/sourcing environment
·Commercial environment
·Demonstrated high level of ability and aptitude
·Good PC skills, confident with use of MRP systems and Spreadsheets
·Demonstrated problem solving skills
·Proven experience in liaising with customers or suppliers |
