Great opportunity for a Structural Stress Engineer to join a leading global supplier of technologically advanced aerospace systems & components
* We are keen to hear from experienced Structural Engineers, particularly those with aircraft industry exp. Other important skills include:
* Static analysis of metallic structures using a broad range of standard hand/computer method
* Understanding of fundamental method of analysis for static stressing & able to develop these methods & assess structural analysis problems

In this challenging & varied role you will liaise with Fatigue & Damage Tolerance, Design & appropriate depts to devise optimum design solutions
* Support ongoing local improvement initiatives to increase team efficiency through methods/process improvements
* Engineering analysis of component structure in conjunction with specific procedures/processes
* Must be able to work from self generated load balances & NASTRAN output; interpret engineering drawings/competent use of electronic media to convey engineering information; produce concise reports for delivery to customer
* Create design calculation files/FEM data
* Progress engineering tasks to programme milestones
* Report critical technical issues up through functional management |
