SOFTWARE SAFETY CONSULTANT

* Our client's Software Engineering & Assessment division has over 15 years experience in the development & assessment of high-integrity software
* Operating primarily in the Defence & Nuclear Power sectors, the group perform a variety of work ranging from research into tools & techniques used to certify safety-critical software, through development & verification of high-integrity software, to authoring of software safety cases for complex projects
* They are seeking a Senior Software Safety Consultant with the following attributes to join the group
- Strong academic & technical background in Computer Science &/or Mathematics (First or Upper Second, postgraduate experience) with previous Industry experience
- Capable of providing technical leadership to a project
- Exp developing &/or assessing Safety-Critical software systems
- Good range of programming language exp - particularly Ada, & C-like languages
- Good understanding of relevant safety standards, e.g DEF STAN 00-56/55
