* The recently announced programme is a satellite communications system for commercial & government use. The contract is for 2 large satellites to be delivered in orbit in the second half of 2010 & for the associated ground infrastructure
* Opportunities exist to be part of the software design & implementation team for the ground segment software - from the start of this challenging programme
- Previous experience in these areas is essential
* You must have proven experience managing complex software projects
* Also experience in the following:
- Working Knowledge of UML design experience
- Managing workstation-based GUI/Database applications with teams of up to 15 staff
- Working Knowledge of experience of C++/Java
- SW Project Estimation, SW Scheduling & Earned Value Management
- SW development metrics, SW configuration management
- Managing hardware/software Integration |
