Job Title: Shift Maintenance Engineering Manager
Location: Coupar Angus, Perthshire.
Salary: £35k per annum

Introduction:
My client is one of the UK’s leading independent food companies, They are now looking to recruit a Shift Maintenance Engineering Manager to work at one of their Food processing plants, Based at their site just outside of Dundee, You will be responsible for all Maintenance related activities, Using all your skills and capabilities from your previous extensive Maintenance Engineering background and be responsible for the Mechanical plant, Associated services and ensuring that all machinery is comprehensively available at all times, Is responsible for the utilities, Buildings and all associated services so as to enable effective and lawful site operation.
Responsibilities:
- Preventative maintenance of the production equipment.
- Day to day running of production equipment
- All site services (Water, Gas, Air, Effluent, IPPC, Environmental, Buildings and fabrics, Plant rooms, Electricity, Lighting and power, Boilers, Refrigeration, Water filters, Engineering waste)
- Day to day running of the site services.
- Contract negotiation and maintenance
- Small projects where appropriate
- Spares for plant equipment and control of stock
- Control of contractors
- Work schedules for site repairs, painting etc
- Management of personnel, including Shift Engineers
- Control of engineering down time
- Maintenance of records ensuring that they are correct and up to date
- Ensuring that the workshop area is maintained to a high standard
- Control of ordering and spares for production equipment and control of stock
- Belt audit
- Cost reduction
- Such ad hoc duties as may be required in order to benefit the business.
Applicant Requirements:
- Ability to Manage and Supervise Multi Disciplined Engineering teams.
- Manage a Project function to successfully deliver agreed projects on time and within budget.
- Proven with delivering Targets, Objectives and KPI’s.
- You will be self-motivated and innovative in approach.
- Proven Mechanical or Electrical Engineering background.
- Proven knowledge of Engineering Projects/Maintenance/Repair/PPM’s Within a High volume Production / Manufacturing environment.
- Previous knowledge of working within a Food environment, However, Not essential.
