Our client wishes to recruit a suitably qualified person to join there environmental assessments team at Harwell.
There will be opportunities for career development in a technical role, in project management and in business development.
The successful candidates should have experience in the radioactive waste management field, and be able project managers. They will be required to liaise directly with clients and, from time to time, to undertake work at client premises. They will also be expected to undertake business development activities. This will involve travel to sites in the UK and possibly abroad.
Essential skills:
A good first degree in a physical science or related numerate discipline or equivalent and may well have a post-graduate qualification or equivalent in an appropriate discipline
You will have demonstrable experience, in project management and in working on waste management issues in the nuclear industry. This experience will be in one or more of the following areas:
- Waste management
- Waste treatment processes
- Inventory studies
- Packaging assessments
- Decommissioning studies
