SENIOR RF & MICROWAVE DESIGN ENGINEER / ISLE OF WIGHT / £35K-£45K
Our client seeks a Senior RF & Microwave Design Engineer with the following skills:
- Sound experience in hands on development of Microwave systems, circuits & components
- Proven design ability on circuitry up to 18GHz a must
- Thorough understanding of current analysis & design techniques, utilising CAE to supplement design assumptions
- Thorough understanding of current microwave technologies, devices & philosophies coupled with proven capability in developing designs for a manufacturing environment
- Preference given to applicants with experience in solid state power amplifier design; all candidates with sound understanding of active RF & microwave given strong consideration
ROLE:
* The Senior Microwave Design Engineer is responsible to the Design Engineering Manager for timely completion of all RF & microwave power development activity allocated
* Ensure sound Design Engineering principles applied at all times & provide strong technical leadership to Production/Test personnel assisting in Development activity
* Self -motivation & providing effective solutions to customer problems are key aspects
* Undertake development of architectures for RF & microwave power amplifiers/systems & subsequent subsystem level specifications enabling effective solutions to customer problems to be implemented
* Design/develop appropriate active & passive RF / microwave circuitry (up to 18GHz) to meet subsystem requirements |
