Sole responsibility for a project or a number of projects.
All contract administration and Quantity Surveying duties including measurement, valuation and agreement of work sections.
The management of cashflow to ensure a net positive cash position at all times. The management of client receipts to ensure receipt within stated contract periods.
Preparation of interim applications for payment and internal valuations.
Regular site visits to ensure that site records are maintained and that all risks and opportunities are identified and managed.
Interim administration and settlement of subcontractors' accounts.
Assisting in preparation of loss and expense submissions.
The preparation and agreement of final accounts.
Provide junior staff with guidance on their job responsibilities.
Negotiate with clients representatives and other consultants
Progress towards and achieve professional status
Advise project management on contractual implications of intended courses of action
Advise on commercial risks within the project or projects.
The timely and accurate preparation of monthly contract review reports.
Preparation of monthly management accounts information
Establish from Contract award the project “budget to build”
Adopt and adhere to the Company's Commercial Processes.
Develop long term internal and external customer relationships.
Identify change and implement change control process and agreement
Ensure that contract documents are properly executed prior to project commencement
Co-ordinate contract documentation, bonds, guarantees and warranty provisions.
Keep your manager fully advised of any issue/risk which has arisen or might arise and which could affect the business/project
Form an integral part of the multidisciplinary team responsible for project delivery and client service
Pro-actively contribute to delivery of business improvement initiatives.
Progression through structured training programme.
