Our client is one of the top 5 UK main contractors, with a reputation as one of the best companies to work for in the UK. They have an opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor. This opportunity has arisen due to the strategic planning of the Directors. They are firmly established in London and the surrounding Home Counties but lack a project presence in places such as Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire.
They are looking for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to initially be based on a £50m new build project in Bracknell. This role will have the Senior Quantity Surveyor the lead Surveyor on this project and in the long run this potential Senior Quantity Surveyor will manage 3 – 4 Projects in these areas and move up to Managing Quantity Surveyor status with hopefully 2 or 3 surveyors under your supervision.
This is an extremely fantastic opportunity for a Senior Quantity Surveyor to move up the corporate ladder and achieve Managing Quantity Surveyor with a top 5 UK Contractor.
The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor must be able to demonstrate strong communication skills accompanied by very strong leadership qualities. The ideal Senior Quantity Surveyor must also be qualified to degree level or equivalent. A clean driving licence is required due to the large geographical area the role will potential be covering.
