Our client is seeking a Senior or Principal Consultant to join their Analysis and Modelling Division working on a range of projects for MOD and other government departments, involving: definition of requirements and assumptions, identification of key issues, development of models to assess trade-offs and compromises and interaction with clients to convey results.
Candidates will need:
To be degree or equivalent qualified in a numerate discipline or have equivalent Working knowledge.
To be security cleared to SC level prior to appointment.
Knowledge of the following is expected:
Working knowledge in Operational Analysis in a consultancy environment.
Strong analytical and modelling skills.
Working knowledge of soft OR and decision analysis.
Innovative approach to problem solving.
Working knowledge on defence-related projects.
Ability to liaise effectively with clients to help define and clarify requirements and collate relevant data/information.
Working knowledge of developing models.
Desirable Requirements for the role:
Working knowledge of conducting economic appraisals to support the Combined Operational Effectiveness and Investment Appraisal (COEIA) process.
Business case preparation support.
Benefits analysis.
Requirements capture and/or development of URDs
