SENIOR MECHANICAL ENGINEER / CHESHIRE / £NEG
Excellent role for a Senior Mechanical Engineer to produce manufacturing & design data to enable manufacture & assembly of Ground Systems products
* We are keen to receive applications from experienced users of 3D CAD systems (Catia v5 a distinct advantage)
* Ability to explain the reasoning behind configuration control & the need for control/recording of modifications to manufacturing information
* Familiar with a PDM system
* Competent AUTOCAD user
* Preferably worked in Electronics/Telecommunications Industry
* HNC in mechanical / electrical engineering or equivalent
* Other desirable skills:
- 19 inch racking systems
- Galvanic corrosion/prevention
- Designed weatherproof enclosures
- Designed to meet EMC guidelines
- EN 60950
- Various types of RF Transmission Media
- Sheet metal fabrications & use of inserts
- Packaging of telecommunication subsystems into military applications
- Familiar with precision static/dynamic assemblies
- Conventional machining techniques
- Familiar with different ranges of connectors used for dc, ac & RF applications & knowledge of connector accessories
- Multi-core Cable Assemblies
- Produced Wiring Information
