This client is a sucessful software consultancy who specialises in developing systems primarily for the Financial Markets sector, for example trading platforms. This is a very exciting position to get involved with a forward thinking company working with cutting edge technologies.
They are looking for a senior Java / J2EE developer with experience of Enterprise Java delivery. You will have strong Object Orientated and UML skills and experience of Oracle and Tibco would be a benefit. You will have to have experience within the financial markets and have team lead exposure.
Coupled with this it would be very benefitial if you have some exposure to the .NET framework with the languages ranging from C#, VB, C++ etc.
You should have experience of agile development methodologies, for example SCRUM.
The role may well involve travel outside of London to client sites and so you should be flexible with location. For example you may be expected to work away from London for anything up to 3-4 months at a time, this is fully expensed.
You may need to undergo checks for Security Clearance.
