SENIOR ENGINEER / STAFFORDSHIRE / £25K-£30K

Fantastic opportunity for a senior engineer with a proven track record of relevant experience in electronic engineering development environment
* Also knowledge of engineering best practice & quality systems
* Experience working in a team-based, multi-skilled environment
* BSc (Hons) Electrical Engineering or Masters in related discipline/education to HNC standard preferred
* Experience of general hand tools in laboratory; measurement equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters etc
* PC/keyboard literacy
* Knowledge of/ability to apply Health & Safety environmental legislation
* Customer focused with drive & motivation
* Time management, planning, analysis, continuous improvement skills
* Flexible team worker with excellent verbal communication skills
VARIED & CHALLENGING ROLE INCLUDING:
* Wide range of engineering work covering all stages of project from bid to delivery
* Proactively manage a skill area to maintain a high level of technical competence
* Plan/conduct engineering tasks requiring judgement in the evaluation, selection & adaptation of designs or design techniques to meet the agreed requirements
* Responsible for a major part of the engineering work on a large project & co-ordinate allocates resources
* Contribute to project meetings & deliver detailed technical & progress reports
* Work closely with senior team members to plan & co-ordinate projects
* Keep up to date with state of the art in the chosen area by attending seminars & studying technical literature
* Review, coach & train technical staff to maintain engineering standards & expertise at a high level
