SENIOR ELECTRONIC & COMMS ENGINEERING CONSULTANT / AVON / £35K-£45K
* Experienced Electronic & Communications Engineer is sought to join a growing team delivering interesting & demanding Defence programme consultancy
* Conduct systems engineering & technical domain consultancy, bringing systems engineering & military communications systems domain knowledge to a highly motivated, multidisciplinary team
* Mandatory experience includes:
- Relevant experience of electronic & communication systems engineering in complex defence projects (more senior positions may be also be available)
- Client contact
- User/System requirement production
- Design & development
- System integration
- Military tactical communication technologies in the land domain
- Running technical workshops/meetings
- Proactive, delivery driven approach to work
Desirable:
- Systems engineering processes/tools
- Use case modelling
- System architecture modelling in UML/SysML
- System of system architecture modelling in MODAF
- Military communication technologies in the air & sea domains
- Knowledge of military structures & tactics
* Successful applicants will be required to be security cleared prior to appointment |
