SECURITY CONSULTANT / HANTS / £40K-£55K
* Great opportunity for an Information Assurance & Systems Security consultant with a communications/IT systems design & cross spectrum security background
* You will provide Information Assurance & overall Systems Security advice to customers, predominately but not limited to standalone or Network Enabled Command, Control, Communications, Computers & Intelligence (C4I) systems in defence, governmental or commercial sectors
* Includes supporting the process for integration of subsystems within system design, ensuring interoperability/producing associated security requirements/documentation
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Thorough knowledge of communications/IT systems
- Able to understand/handle complex multi-domain system architectures
- Knowledge of interoperability/system connection requirements
- Knowledge of system accreditation procedures in MoD, public & private sectors
- Understanding of Systems Engineering lifecycle
- Knowledge of security rules & regulations in various marketplace sectors – public, governmental, commercial & defence
- Understanding of requirements management
- Information management techniques & business processes
ROLE INCLUDES:
* System design analysis
* Security architecture analysis/design
* Preparing Requirement Spec, Plans & Specs for Subsystem testing
* Liaise with system accreditor & subsequent production of accreditation document set & supporting evidence for system accreditation & operational security policy
* Bringing together system requirements & security requirements, producing cohesive system security architectures to meet accreditation requirements
* Prepare System Integration Specifications including Codes of Connection & Interface Control Documents
* Advice to customer on areas such as System Evaluation & Health Checks, COMPUSEC, COMSEC & TEMPEST |
