Introduction:
Our client is a leading service provider to the MOD and is currently working in partnership to deliver the Sea King Integrated Operational Support (SKIOS), (Search and Rescue) project across the UK. Subsequently our client is looking for a RearCrew Member (SAR) to split their time between Hurn and the Lockheed Martin offices in Havant.

The requirement is for a helicopter Search and Rescue (SAR) RearCrew Member to support a major bid for replacement of the UK SAR service under a new PFI contract.

Responsibilities:
- The role will require you to develop SAR RearCrew manning requirements including;
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOP,s).
- Provide advice on aircraft role fit and medical fit.
- Provide advice on medical matters pertaining to Search and Rescue operations.
- You will provide advice and input into the bid and present findings to a range of audiences.
- You may be required to travel within the UK to existing UK SAR sites.

Applicant Requirements:
- The successful Candidate must have worked as a RearCrew member previously and have completed at least one operational Search and Rescue tour in the United Kingdom.
- The successful candidate will have a Medical Technician / Paramedic qualification.
- You will have good management and communication skills to work successfully in a collaborative, multi-disciplinary environment.
- Good team player
- Experience as an instructor would be advantageous as would experience of working with COSARM and ‘rostering’ air crew and familiarity with CAP 371.
