Project Manager/Resource Manager - Sea Signature Ranges
Working for a leading UK based science and technology company the project manager role will provide leadership and direction for the Sea Signature Ranges, projects portfolio.
The successful Project Manager will have experience of internal and external recruitment and ideally will have a proven background in building, supporting, training and developing a multi-site team.

Essential qualifications
•Electrical engineering degree or relevant qualification.
•Domain experience in military, specifically naval projects.
•Recognised Project Management qualification
Knowledge, skills and personal qualities required
•Use of effective stakeholder management to develop good working relations with suppliers (internal and external).
•Appreciation of complex high technology systems, their components and processes associated with their execution.
•Ability to decompose complex issues, to an appropriate level of detail, in a methodical manner.
•Co-ordinate the production of a resourced project plan, with which to manage the project.
•Experienced in monitoring and control of complex, multi-team, firm price contracts (knowledge and experience of earned value techniques advantageous).
•Track record of successful delivery of work packages to defined cost, timescale and budget.
•Keen to maintain and develop current body of knowledge in Project Management discipline.
•First hand experience of procurement and tendering processes (preferably involving the production of specifications, definition of supplier selection criteria and contracting).
•Knowledgeable in risk management processes and experience of implementing mitigation strategies.
•Experience of all lifecycle phases concept, definition, implementation, handover and close out, operation and termination.
