Project Planner York
Job Description To develop project or annual investment programme plans on behalf of programme and project managers in order to meet overall requirements of the client / business in most cost effective and reliable manner.
The vacancy is for an experienced Project Planner with good P3e skills to support the team in the management of the portfolio. This will involve preparing and maintaining cost/ resource loaded schedules in P3e, managing the interface of cost information into our cost management system, weekly/period/ad hoc/ client reporting. The Project Planner reports directly to the Programme Controls Manager
Essential:
You will have excellent interpersonal skills, an ability to communicate with the project teams and be able to communicate effectively with other railway departments.
The successful candidate will have proven project planning experience of 3 years working with Primavera P3e. [Minimum 12 months working with Version 5].
Educated to HND/HNC standard or similar.
Successful relevant experience in the management, planning or delivery of major construction and engineering projects.
Experience of working in an investment programme and a good knowledge of project controls processes and systems.
