Job Specification: The requirement is for an experienced Project Manager skilled in manufacturing and contract management to manage and interface with a number of critical paths from design, integration to production for a strategically important multi million pound contract. Responsible to the Programme Manager
You will manage a number of sub contractors to ensure they meet their contractual obligations on time and to the required specification.
Integrate the sub contractors program schedules to the Master Program Plan and establish and report progress on a regular basis.
Ensure all risks are understood and registered on the main Program Risk Register.
Requirements: Sound understanding of project management disciplines coupled with at least 5 years experience within manufacturing management.
Professional qualification preferred.
Knowledge of Earned Value Management processes.
Experience in MOD Projects preferred but not essential.
Proven track record of delivering on time, within budget and to the specified quality levels.
Ability to produce detailed programmes using Microsoft Project.
Commercially aware with knowledge of risk and change management.
Knowledge of contract review techniques.
Able to effectively report to and deal with Senior Management.
Effective communicator.
