Project Lead Engineer - Sea Signature Ranges
Working for one of the UK's leading science and technology companies The Project Lead Engineer will provide technical leadership, direction and decision making for the Sea Signature Ranges projects portfolio.

Knowledge, skills and personal qualities required
•Appreciation of complex high technology systems, their components and processes associated with their execution. Specifically hard real-time systems, involving data acquisition or command and control.
•Ability to reconcile current, emerging and future requirements into an overall system architecture/solution.
•Demonstrate appreciation of all issues associated with the provision of a capability i.e. operational constraints and their impact on the design and acceptance of the system.
•Undertake partitioning of the system solution into discrete functional blocks with well defined interfaces.
•Recognise and employ good through life design principles for systems/products that will meet the stated design longevity.
•Experienced in the use of open architectures, COTS products and interfaces as part of the original design solution or to perform technology updates to existing systems.
•Able to drive technical solutions and overcome obstacles with minimal supervision.
Key accountabilities
•Act as the customer point of contact on the technical content of the project.
Essential qualifications
•Numeric degree or relevant qualification.
•Domain experience in military, specifically naval projects.
•Recognised engineering qualification e.g. CEng
•Knowledge of transverse engineering functions (safety, security, EMC, vibration and HSE).
