Experienced Mechanical and Electrical (M&E) Project Engineer required to work on Military PFI in Colchester, Essex.
Duties will include:
- Manage the local office operation
- Liaise with respective Defence Estate Manager
- Deputise for Commission Manager as necessary
Prepare and update Site Quality Plan for designated site
- Conduct local management reviews
- Carry out initial Engagement Review for projects and assign project to individual Project Engineer
- Focal point for review and issue of deliverables to the Client
- Co-ordinate design and construction of groups of projects
- Office focal point for Health and Safety, Quality Assurance and Fraud Prevention
- Set up, and maintain, local office systems for H&S, Quality Assurance and Fraud Prevention
- Prepare and distribute all local reports
- Attend client progress meetings
- Operate the configuration control system for groups of projects
- Undertake duties and responsibilities of Project Engineer for individual designated projects
- Plan and implement a programme of local quality audits
- Comply with company QA, H&S and Fraud Prevention procedures
