A project administrator is required to support the retail delivery team.
Based in London you will be joining a busy and expanding team of professionals currently involved in over twenty shopping centres spread nationwide for major blue chip clients.
The role requires a competent knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Previous experience within an architectural, design or shop fitting environment would be advantageous.

Purpose:To provide an appropriate range of administrative and on site duties to meet the needs of the retail delivery team and as necessary to overlap with other members of the project management administration team.
Duties:
1.To initiate and co-ordinate the various retail delivery systems and procedures, from the receipt of heads of terms notification from the Landlord or drawings from the tenant's representative. To see the project through to handover site inspection ensuring all defects are noted and forwarded to the tenant's shopfitter and the centre management team also arranging for all completion certificates and record drawings to be forwarded to the Landlord's team.
2.To ensure that the tenant's proposed methods of construction are appropriate in order to achieve a safe, well built and generally well designed shopfit; conveying landlord's consultant's comments and recommendations to the tenant's representative as necessary.
3. To ensure that the best possible design is received from each tenant. Attending on site retailer briefing meetings. To liaise with both the tenant's and landlord's design consultants regarding specific design and detail issues for each submission conveying the design philosophy, comments and recommendations to the tenant's representative.
4.To liaise as required with the relevant local authority building control and fire officers, conveying their comments and recommendations to the tenant's representative.
5. To liaise as necessary with the Landlord's M+E, sprinkler and structural consultants, conveying their comments and recommendations to the tenant's representative.
6. To be aware of the various shopping centres individual requirements regarding shopfitting construction and procedures.
7.To maintain / improve all existing filing systems, ensuring immediate retrieval of documents as required.
8. Ensure that individual projects are invoiced as soon as possible using word processing / spreadsheet and desktop publishing.
9.To carry out site inspections of shop units at any of our shopping centres (this may involve an overnight stay).
10. Participate in progress meetings with our clients, producing minutes of meetings and site specific reports and compiling shopfitting handbooks.
11. Participate in weekly internal progress meetings with the other members of the retail delivery team.
12.Liaise with other team members and organise work priorities using initiative and knowledge of workloads.
13.To be available to assist other teams in the event of temporary heavy workload, staff illness, holiday etc, always assuming retail delivery commitments allow.
