PROGRAMME MANAGER / MIDDLESEX / £30K-£50K
My client seeks additional Project Management resource to strengthen its Countermeasures Business Unit. Reporting to the Business Unit Manager & as part of the Business unit Management team you will assume a customer facing role with responsibility for co-coordinating project management activity across a number of major UK Naval programs & leadership of bid activity in support of emergent opportunities. Role will incorporates:
* Regular liaison, monitoring, problem solving & development of pragmatic & innovative solutions with MoD customers & key sub-contractors
* Monitoring/mentoring Project Management activity across the Business unit ensuring Customer requirements are being realized within budget/agreed timescales
* Monthly Business unit level programmatic reporting, generation of cost/spend profiles, & budgetary forecasting
* Support to Business unit marketing team in the development of new opportunities & leadership of bid activity for emergent opportunities
Essential:
- Experienced & able to lead & support Contract & Sub-contract negotiation
- Able to identify, evaluate & develop plans to mitigate technical & program risk essential
Desirable:
- Experience of managing multi-disciplined projects with a focus on systems engineering & integration
- Background in Naval underwater systems & or above water countermeasures |
