MANUFACTURING/PRODUCTION TEAM LEADER
My client, is a world leader in the production of hi-tech and high profile solutions for the global market. Solutions ranging from Commercial & Military Aircraft, E-Solutions, Security, Logistics Systems and large scale integrated solutions. With a significant pool of resources and objectives of being a World Class Manufacturing Function, they have an urgent requirement for a Manufacture/Production Team Leader to join there successful manufacturing function to assist in driving the organisation forward.
You will have a strong background in:
- Team Leadership
- Managing a Busy Production Environment
- Manufacturing Processes (including composites, fabrication, assembly and machining);
- Lean Methodologies;
- Developing both staff and business processes
You will be responsible for:
- Monitoring individual & team performances
- Carry out appraisals
- Ensure Health & Safety Compliance
- Assist in Manufacturing Components (where required)
- Provide regular graphical reports
- Implementing Lean Manufacturing Methodologies (e.g. Six Sigma, JIT etc)
