Summary of the role
To develop key manufacturing processes, investigate and resolve manufacturing problems and to provide essential support for the facility Manufacturing Development Manager to ensure / improve delivery of manufacturing output and programme deliverables.
Key accountabilities
• Accountable to the facility Manufacturing Development Manager for delivery of manufacturing development activities
• To ensure improvements and modifications are implemented in accordance with due process
Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience & Skills
• In depth knowledge and understanding of manufacturing processes
• Good general understanding of Manufacturing Quality systems
• Knowledge of Facility Change Management systems and weapon Manufacturing processes
• HNC/degree level in an Engineering/ Manufacturing related subject
• Some experience of working in a manufacturing environment
• Good computer skills; proficient in MS Office suite
• Effective Oral and Written Communications at all levels
