PRINCIPAL THERMAL ENGINEER / HAMPSHIRE / £NEG
Our client seeks a Principal Thermal Engineer with the following essential skills:
- Degree or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering (1st or 2nd class
Hons) or similar subject or equivalent HND/HNC
- Significant post graduate experience of mechanical engineering in space industry
Desirable skills:
- Rounded mechanical background including structural & thermal engineering
- Customer facing & supplier liaison skills
- Exp of test campaigns
ROLE:
Principal Thermal Engineer required to:
* Achieve solutions to structural or thermal analysis tasks & problems assigned by line manager & detailed by project work packages
* Work within budgets & schedules
* Communicate solutions effectively
* At system or component level, perform analysis, design / development & testing activities
* Supervise & support junior engineers
* Familiarisation with company standards, procedures, processes & work practices
* Determine specification environments for subcontracted equipment, & review subcontract design & analysis |
