Leading
international electronics and systems group, serving defence, aerospace and security markets globally, now urgently needs to recruit Principal Systems Engineers to join its specialist missile and target identification business area. Working at a strategic level across the engineering function, the roles will focus on leading complex military research programmes to develop technical demonstrator products and then leading these through development phases as the Technical Lead. As a Principal Systems Engineer you will also be responsible for bidding and helping to win new MOD projects, leading small teams of systems engineers and advising on new product development. You will have a proven track record in the research and development of military products coupled with the ability to manage small teams. You will be comfortable in leading projects of work, supporting bids and presenting new solutions or research programmes to MOD customers. Technically you will experienced in any of the following: Sensors, Infra Red (IR), radar seekers, RF technology, Ordnance fuzing, DSP, communications systems, missile systems, or mathematical modelling.
