PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER / EAST SUSSEX / £40K-£45K
A Principal Software Engineer is sought with the following essential experience:
- Experience in Military Avionics
- Team Leadership/Management
- Understanding of UML
- Solid programming experience in C / C++ &/or Ada
- Understanding of full software lifecycle
- Real Time Embedded development exp
- Demonstrated Team Management of up to 10 Software Engineers
- Embedded Avionic architectures desirable
- Real Time Operating systems/Microsoft OS Key desirable
ROLE:
* Work within 1 business area of Mission Systems to undertake software activities on current programme or IR&D
* As a Principal Software Engineer you will be responsible for the analysis of software requirements & design/development of major subsystems, testing of software against requirements
Key areas:
- Manage major subsystem development
- Analyse software requirements
- Software design, implementation/test
- Undertake all activities to cost/schedule
