Summary of the role
Reporting to the Planning Manager you will be supporting project planning and coordination including the production of task networks and estimating.
Key accountabilities
• Preparation of production networks
• Preparation of time and cost estimates
• Instigating tasking reviews for new work received into area of responsibility
• Representation of section at relevant progress meetings
• Cost and progress data gathering
• Raising and progressing of task orders
Responsibilities
• Preparation of material in support of procedures, reports and presentations
• Highlight risks and issues to business and identify remedial action
• Liaison with scientific, engineering, production and programme personnel at all levels in order to agree solutions to individual issues and risks
• To ensure that the Company’s Environment, Health, Safety, Security and Quality Standards are understood and complied with
• Consolidation of production networks into integrated manufacture programme
Knowledge, Qualifications, Experience, Skills
• Computer literate
• A good understanding of planning and business processes
• ONC in production engineering or equivalent (demonstrable period working in operational environment demonstrating logistics and/or planning skills)
• A proven track record working in an operational environment demonstrating logistics and/or planning skills
• Able to communicate with individuals at all levels
• Able to interpret technical procedures, engineering drawings and specifications
Special Requirements
• Attendance of some residential courses may be required
