My Client, a Defence Organisation, are looking for a Network Consultant (DV cleared).
You would have to carry out "cost reduction" activities specifically involving investigating and proposing options relating to continuing support for legacy systems and legacy LAN’s.
Candidates should be proactive individuals with an ability to present findings and suggest options as appropriate.
You would be working within a specific network project alongside a dedicated cost reduction working group to:
A. To investigate and propose options for continued support to legacy systems, through migration to core networks or continued support on legacy LAN's.
• Becoming familiar with Networks Service and core networks.
• Prioritisation and identification of non-core network lines.
• Identification of systems and system owners for individual non-core lines
• Identification of cost reduction activities to enable the release of funds back to centre.
• Production of an action timeline to realise savings.
Ideally you would have:
Projects experience
Networks background
Ability to follow processes,
Ability to engage with stakeholders and team members at all levels.
Ideally you would be DV cleared or be willing toundergo clearance
