METROLOGY ENGINEER / HERTFORDSHIRE / £NEG
* You must have knowledge / experience of Aerospace production engineering techniques
* Also a good engineering aptitude
* You will be familiar with the techniques of Tooling design, incorporating Laser tracking measuring methods
* Your prime responsibility is to calibrate / set assembly tooling used to produce flight hardware
* On occasion, the flight hardware will require measurements taken & setting which will be performed using a Leica Laser Tracker LTD 500
* A laser tracking level 3 advanced certificate is desirable
* A tooling background within the aerospace or automotive industry is required along with a hands on approach to enable rectification of errors found, or to set flight hardware
* You will provide support to engineers relating to manufacturing tooling design in line with laser tracking
* Also provide support to all manufacturing areas regarding manufacturing tooling design Interface with system design teams to agree interfaces/specifications |
