Introduction:
My client is involved in providing Support services, Training and Logistics solutions to the Emergency and Civil services, They operate a number of busy Control Room and Workshop Facilities responsible for the Maintenance, Repair and Servicing of a wide variety of Emergency vehicles and assets. They are now currently looking to recruit a Delivery and Collection Driver with a LGV C+E (HGV CLASS 1) Licence to be based in Bardon, Leicestershire.
Responsibilities:
- YOU MUST HAVE LGV LICENCE C+E TO APPLY (HGV CLASS 1)
- We are looking for a Delivery and Collection Driver.
- Experience of Multi – Drop driving.
- Your main role will be to provide a reliable, efficient and courteous collection and delivery service to the client.
- To ensure completion of the 'daily record' section of the MPS logbook.
- Collection and delivery of vehicles and equipment in line with schedules and requirements.
- To carry out all associated duties, as required by the company, e.g. washing and cleaning of vehicles.
- You must have previous background in a similar role as well as a full, clean driving licence.
- Pre-Vehicle and cab checks
- Travel throughout the UK required.
- Completion of supplementary paperwork and records as required.
Applicant Requirements:
- YOU MUST HAVE LGV LICENCE C+E TO APPLY (HGV CLASS 1)
- Full clean driving licence.
- Must be flexible with regards to working hours and travel throughout the UK.
- Previous background in Multi – Drop delivery driving.
- Customer service skills with the ability to liaise and communicate with customers.
