Location: Near Uxbridge, Middlesex
Our client, the world's longest established and most experienced manufacturer of ejection seats, is looking to appoint an Investigations Engineer to their staff at Higher Denham, Near Uxbridge.
Operating within the Design Support department and reporting directly to the Product Support Manager the Investigations Engineer will be handle engineering liaison and product investigation with customers worldwide.
Educated to degree level or equivalent in an engineering discipline the success candidate will have proven experience of similar activity associated with aerospace or the vehicular industry.
Responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
•A position encompassing many facets of field support, with a wide range of responsibilities and activities in support of the customer
•Main responsibilities will be providing engineering expertise and guidance on defect investigation/support.
•Customer Liaison: Tasks include answering day to day enquiries by customers. Assistance in aircraft/ejection seat accident investigation and support of Field Service Engineers as required.
•Defect Investigation: Documenting and researching root cause of in-service failures and overseeing corrective actions in accordance with Company QA Procedures.
•Producing written internal and external reports of the findings . Liaising with the QA, Commercial and other relevant internal departments for administrative purposes, regarding closure of investigations.
Salary: c£30,000 (depending on experience) plus:
