ILS ENGINEER / AVON / £25K-£40K
An ILS Engineer is required to conduct a range of ILS Engineering activities. Skills sought:
- Practical knowledge of ILS & R&M preferably related to electronic equipment or equivalent
- Practical knowledge of DEF STAN 00-60 series & DEF STAN 00-40 series desirable
- Practical knowledge of MoD AMS/AOF, the CADMID cycle & SSE desirable
- Understanding of modelling the Support Environment & experiences of industry standard computer models
- Sound knowledge of one or more skills complimentary to the ILS discipline e.g. Technical Publications, Training, Human Factors & System Engineering advantageous
- Able to understand & meet LSA requirements for RCM, FMECA, LORA, MTA
Role includes:
* Logistics Support Analysis (LSA) with emphasis on Maintainability & Through Life Support (TLS) modelling
* Analyse LSA data to extract data into a Def Stan 00-60 LSA Record database
* Analyse Subcontractor LSA data to perform NATO codification requests
* Availability, Reliability & Maintainability Predictions & Modelling to support TLS
* Theoretical & practical Ease of Maintenance assessments |
