Fantastic opportunity for a Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Engineer which involves Analysis of aircraft structure using standard fatigue & crack growth methods to develop design solutions within the project teams
* This varied & challenging role includes liaising with Static Stress, Design & appropriate departments in Europe to devise optimum design solutions for airline customers & define maintenance programs
* Also fatigue, crack growth & residual strength calculations to assess design solutions using standard hand/computer methods
We are keen to hear from FATIGUE & DAMAGE TOLERANCE ENGINEERS with:
* Exp as an engineer, preferably in the aircraft industry, involved in fatigue & crack growth analysis of metallic structures
* Understanding of fundamental method of analysis for fatigue & crack growth & ability to develop these methods
* Able to assess structural analysis problems
* Some knowledge of the application of FE analysis & an understanding of aircraft production methods/processes beneficial
* Exp of PC/mainframe computer systems
* Team player with high regard for internal/external customers, whilst maintaining aircraft integrity as the over-riding principle |
