My client has a requirement for an experienced developer in Storage System Support.
The aim of the role is to deliver storage solutions encompassing both multiple operating systems and current file systems. To participate in the research and design process as an expert in the area of storage systems.
You will be a senior member of the team responsible for the design and development of the company's product and will discuss and agree design and development strategies with senior technical leads.
Specifications
Strong object-oriented design skills.
Understanding of C++
Strong problem solving skills
Through understanding of threading, synchronisation objects, RPC and inter process communication.
In depth understanding of the principles of storage, networking and systems management.
Development background in Storage Area Networking including Current file system, Clustering.
Experience in the development/implementation of Fibre Channel and the SCSI protocol.
Experience in design and development of large real time applications.
Experience of shipping products to customers and maintaining versions in the field using a revision control system.
Have a good knowledge of test driven development techniques as applied to C++ |
