EMC VALIDATION ENGINEER / HERTFORDSHIRE / £NEG
* Our client seeks an EMC Validation Engineer with a practical EMC test background
* Familiarity with MIL-STD-461 & 462 advantageous together with EMC & PIM analysis experience
* The function of our client's Technical Unit is to provide a central & transverse competency & service meeting changing needs of their business in the disciplines of Electrical Systems, RF, Elec. I/F & Harness, Power Engineering & EMC Analysis / Design / Verification & Test
* As part of the Central Electrical Engineering in UK, the EMC Validation Engineer will carry out EMC & electrical test activities, supporting project system teams within the business units
* You will be involved in the set up & maintenance of the EMC test facility
* Interface with system teams & possibly end user
* Review & write, test plans/procedures
* Electrical test activities primarily including EMC validation of equipments & subsystems
* Support equipment, subsystem, & satellite level EMC testing off site
* Write test reports
* Follow up new EMC test technologies/techniques
* Participate in R&D activities |
