EMC DESIGN ENGINEER / HAMPSHIRE / £NEG
Experienced EMC Engineer sought to undertake EMC engineering tasks on RF communications payload projects, proposals & studies. You must have:
- Demonstrated professional competence in EMC systems engineering
- Methodical approach to work, with sufficient commitment & drive to complete tasks, even where adverse conditions are encountered
- Strong analytical skills
- Experience working directly with customers & ability to present ideas & concepts to the customer with authority
- Knowledge of EMC issues associated with communication payloads operating in the range up to 30 GHz & beyond
- Ability to travel overseas
- Knowledge & experience of EMC design techniques & practice to meet Military / Defence / Avionics specifications Relevant Standards: Mil Std 461/462; Def Stan 59 41; RTCA-D0160
Tasks will include:
* Requirements analysis
* Equipment specification development
* Advise on EMC control techniques & practices
* EMC design analysis
* Preparation of test specifications & procedures as part of a multidisciplinary team
* Involvement in testing of equipments, controlling of test programmes & assisting with test reports
* Liaison with customer representatives & participation in test reviews, design reviews project meetings
* Liaison with Suppliers to achieve compliant EMC designs
* Ensure compliant EMC System performance |
