Challenging & varied role for an Electronic Engineer who has produced designs involving precision analog transducer interfaces (eg. force, optoelectronics, piezo) & power electronics (eg. electromechanical, motor drives, DC-DC SMPs). We are keen to hear from Electronics Engineers with talents as follows:
- PCB fabrication/assembly processes (conventional/SMT)
- PCBA test processes
- Firmware design
- EMC/LVD
- Design for assembly & test (eg. ATE)
- Good problem-solver

This critical Electronic Engineering role focuses on working with teams of multi-disciplinary engineers within product development, manufacturing & the supplier base
* Provide robust, cost-effective design solutions for feature enhancement across the range of current instrumentation products
* Work with NPI teams to ensure cost-effective new product manufacturing & test solutions
* Liaise with PCB assembly contractors to resolve quality issues
* Develop/maintain testing (ATE) processes at outsource/offshore suppliers
* Support manufacturing/associated subcontractors, UK/international
* Task estimates/plans/progress reports |
