An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Electrical Designer in Portsmouth, South of England. The successful applicant will have proven experience in a similar marine/naval role reporting to the Chief Electrical Designer.
Duties will include analysis, definition and preparation of technical specifications for:
Power generation and distribution systems
Power conversion machinery
Platform management systems
Lighting systems
Detection systems
Lightning protection
Degaussing systems
Flight deck and hangar electrical services
Cathodic protection
Required to cross all disciplines of engineering but particular experience and competence in the Electrical / Hull Outfit area is required. Ideally educated to degree or HND standard and have achieved, or be applying for membership of IEE. Benefits include a 4 day week and pension scheme.
