Depot Maintenance Co-ordination Manager ( £45-50k )

Role:
The co ordination of the maintenance, repair, replacement, day to day performance, project self assurance and client project liaison of MRL Depot assets maintained by internal and external suppliers. This includes Premises, M&E, Fire, Comms, CCTV, Security etc but not Fleet Assets Develop and maintain a Client / Contractor relationship with external suppliers who have maintenance responsibility for the Assets.

Duties:
Plan, direct and control the management of assets to meet all performance specifications, customer and corporate standards of safety and quality and environment both internally and externally to the companies' customers.
Plan, direct and control internal and external resources undertaking the complete range of value chain activities for assets, from project management to delivery enabling customer and business objectives to be met.
To ensure that external suppliers who undertake day to day installations and maintenance activities are effectively managed to ensure that cost and recovery targets are optimised.
Monitor the management and performance of installations, site services and contracts, ensuring that improvements are included in the preparation of plans to optimise performance in safety, quality, environmental and costs.


Skills:
Degree or equivalent in a Construction or Engineering discipline.
Proven major achievements in change and operations management.
Highly developed negotiating skills.
Extensive management expertise, managing people, external suppliers, projects and performance at tactical and strategic levels.
Proven contract management expertise of external suppliers.
Proven expertise within the Stations/Railway environment.
It is essential that the post holder holds a minimum of a NEBOSH General Certificate or similar
